Hi, I'm

I’ve been living in Peru since 2017 as a solo expat and digital nomad, with experience in both small-town life in the Sacred Valley of Cusco near Sacred Valley and the fast-paced capital of Lima. Living in these two very different environments has given me a balanced understanding of the opportunities and challenges people face when relocating to Peru.

As a Black American woman living abroad, I bring a unique perspective to the expat experience—from navigating cultural differences to the practical aspects of daily life, including maintaining natural hair and finding the right resources in a new country. I know firsthand that these details can make a meaningful difference in feeling comfortable and confident in your new environment.

When I first moved, I had no experience working online. I began teaching ESL and, over time, built a broader virtual career. This journey has given me firsthand insight into what it takes to create sustainable remote work while living abroad and how to adapt along the way.

Being fluent in Spanish has allowed me to fully engage with the local culture and navigate the realities of everyday life, and I enjoy helping others do the same. My goal is to provide clear, honest insights so that you can make informed decisions and build a realistic plan for living successfully in Peru.
